چکیده
Infections and systemic vasculitis (SV) are characterized by mutual influence, which increases the risk of occurrence, aggravates course outcome disease. The review considers issues related to both trigger role infections in development SV comorbid (CI) that complicate Recognition infectious etiology is great importance, since it requires a comprehensive examination and, if necessary, early complete etiotropic treatment. Since per se use induction maintenance immunosuppressive therapy significant factors for secondary CIs, special attention should be paid prevention latter, including vaccination, primarily against influenza pneumococcal infections.

Pathophysiological Relationship between Infections and Systemic Vasculitis
The development of autoimmune disorders requires a combination of genetic, immunological, and environmental factors. Infectious agents, such as viruses and bacteria, can trigger autoimmunity through different mechanisms, and for systemic vasculitis in particular, microbial agents have been suggested to be involved in its pathogenesis. Although the exact mechanisms have not been fully elucidated...

The systemic vasculitides are characterized by inflammation of blood vessel walls. Vessels of any type, in any organ can be affected, resulting in a broad spectrum of signs and symptoms. The heterogenous nature of vasculitides presents a diagnostic challenge. The American College of Rheumatology classification criteria and the Chapel Hill Consensus Conference nomenclature are the most widely us...
متن کاملSilica exposure and systemic vasculitis.
Work in Department of Energy (DOE) facilities has exposed workers to multiple toxic agents leading to acute and chronic diseases. Many exposures were common to numerous work sites. Exposure to crystalline silica was primarily restricted to a few facilities. I present the case of a 63-year-old male who worked in DOE facilities for 30 years as a weapons testing technician. In addition to silica, ...

Systemic vasculitis is a heterogeneous group of disorders characterized by inflammation andnecrosis in the vessel wall. The diagnosis of a systemic vasculitis is challenging, because patients usually present a broad spectrum of manifestations that vary according to the predominant size of vessels affected, organs and systems involved, and the extent of the inflammatory process (1). In systemic ...
متن کاملVasculitis in Systemic Sclerosis
Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is a multiorgan connective tissue disease characterized by autoantibody production and fibroproliferative stenosis of the microvasculature. The vascoluopathy associated with SSc is considered to be noninflammatory, yet frank vasculitis can complicate SSc, posing diagnostic and therapeutic challenges. Here, we have reviewed the literature for reports of small-, medium-, ...
